Power Sector Skill Council (PSSC) has been promoted by Ministry of Power (MoP), Central Electricity Authority (CEA), Govt. of India, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Govt. of India, and Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA). The Governing Body of PSSC is chaired by Chairperson, Central Electricity Authority, Ministry of Power, Govt. of India, as President and has representation from across the Power Sector organizations covering Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Distribution Downstream, Renewable Energy and Power Equipment Manufacturing. This is a completely industry and employer driven initiative designed to help them with improved availability of readily employable and skilled workforce through a robust process of skill development, assessment and certification. Our processes are fully aligned to requirements under National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF).
A PSSC job portal would likely be an online platform dedicated to connecting job seekers with employment opportunities in the power sector. The power sector encompasses various industries such as electricity generation, transmission, distribution, renewable energy, and more. The skill council would focus on enhancing the skills and employability of individuals interested in working in Power sector.
